Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 banana slices

Method

Make the oat base
  1. In a jar, combine rolled oats, milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and honey.
  2. Stir well until the cocoa and peanut butter are evenly dispersed.
Chill overnight
  1. Refrigerate the jar overnight, about 8 hours, so the oats soften into thick layers (keep covered).
Serve
  1. Before serving, top with banana slices so they sit on the surface.
  2. Stir again and enjoy cold.

Notes

For a thicker texture, use a slightly more viscous milk (or let it chill the full 8–12 hours). Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days; freezing isn’t recommended because bananas won’t hold texture. If you want a dairy-free option, swap milk for an unsweetened plant-based milk with similar fat content.
