Ingredients
Method
Prep the apples
- Toss the apple slices with the lemon juice in a bowl to prevent browning.
- Arrange the apple slices in a single overlapping layer on a large platter so the toppings spread evenly.
Add caramel and toppings
- Warm the caramel sauce slightly if needed, then drizzle generously over the apple slices.
- Sprinkle the crushed pretzels evenly over the top for a crunchy base layer.
- Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle the chopped peanuts evenly over the top for extra salty crunch.
- Finish with a drizzle of melted white chocolate in thin lines.
Serve
- Serve immediately while the apples are crisp and the caramel stays glossy.
Notes
For the crispiest platter, slice the apples right before assembling and drizzle caramel only when you’re ready to serve. Store leftovers in the refrigerator up to 1 day, but expect the apples to soften; freezing is not recommended. If you want a lighter option, use a caramel sauce made with less sugar (or reduced-sugar caramel) and keep the same toppings.
