Method
Prepare the pan and melt chocolate
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second increments, stirring between each until smooth and fully melted.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the prepared baking sheet, forming a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
Add toppings
- Sprinkle the crushed pretzels and chopped dried apple chips evenly over the chocolate so every bite has crunch and fruit pieces.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt for a sweet-salty finish.
Chill and break
- Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour, or until firm, so the bark sets cleanly.
- Break into pieces before serving for bite-size no-bake dessert portions.
Notes
For a cleaner break, chill until truly firm (longer than 1 hour if your fridge runs warm). Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days; freezing is not recommended because the pretzels may lose crunch. For a dairy-free swap, use dairy-free chocolate chips and a dairy-free caramel sauce.
